Daily Duties at Chemonics International:
Oversaw the accounting and finance functions for a $30M annual budget with a staff of 54 personnel to provide internal controls, compliance, and continuous process improvements to ensure company growth. Drafted budgets and direct bank reconciliations. Prepared and reviewed periodical reports to monitor financial health and convey essential data to the home office to assist with planning and decision-making. Mentored staff and provided training for professional development and improved performance. Managed the subgrantee and contract agreements and ensured for the completion of activities as per the agreement. Assisted with recruiting, hiring, and human resources activities to boost retention. Reviewed and approved expense reports to minimize error and prevent fraud. Managed the issuing and distribution of checks to vendors.
