Daily Duties at Summit Packaging:
Oversee production team methods and outcomes. Implement and train on single piece flow using Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and Kaizen to promote continuous improvement and meet customer needs in the most efficient way possible, while keeping safety, quality, and data accuracy paramount in accomplishing this goal. Assist in filling gaps in the chain of command in the absence of a site manager. Working with peers from all departments to fulfill our mission as a business. Recruiting new line leads and supervisors when needed. Maintaining budget by insuring labor reconciliation from all departments is recorded and compared to Flex labor reports. Use historical data to best assess the days charge and how to best execute the charge for that day. Check cross rate worksheets for errors and improvements to accurately reflect the work that is required.
