• Reduced external audit fees by $250K over 2-year period. • Increased controls efficiency by 40%; decreased controls by 25%. • Migrated K-Tron controls into Hillenbrand Internal Audit software, as well as other transition related assignments. • Managed the compliance and internal audit efforts of a publicly traded, global organization. This included several phases of annual work, from planning, resource coordination and fieldwork travel, to communication with Management at each company location. • Communicated audit results and internal control and/or compliance concerns to the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis. This included creation of presentation materials, recommendations for remediation, key updates and both internal and external budget analysis. • Conducted annual risk assessments with required personnel to identify key controls and areas of focus, with emphasis on valueadded return. Evaluated new or existing design of controls, provided feedback and/or review of Management’s process documentation and addressed business related risks as applicable. • Provided project management and oversight of all aspects of KTron’s Information Technology/General Computer Controls testing. • Maintained consistent, on-time execution and preparation, related to all audit areas, both internally and externally, of key audit deliverables. • Reinforced and maintained a solid internal control environment throughout the K-Tron organization.
