Daily Duties at Salem Christian Homes:

•Serves as a collaborative member of our senior management team, providing direct oversight to Residential Care Managers, QIDP's, Registered Nurses, and Direct Support Professionals •Responsible for implementing the organization's vision and insuring the delivery of quality services • Liaise between community programs and residents • Conduct tours, orientation and educational sessions for residents and families. •Promote positive relations between residents and staff. •Establish program and performance standards to ensure quality of residential programming; evaluates each residence against established standards. •Develop and maintain an appropriate staffing plan including the use of relief staff to adequately implement resident service plans. • Ensures compliance with all state and regulatory agency standards to maintain appropriate program licenses. •Oversees the development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans including, but not limited to, individual service plans (ISP) and behavioral plans, for all program participants. •Develops short- and long-term plans and recommends appropriate action steps to executive management. •Ensures the human rights and safety of residents within the residential program. •Proposes and manages annual budget for the residential program. •Ensures all residential program staff follow mandated reporting procedures outlined by the state and investigates reports of alleged abuse and/or neglect. •Maintains an on-call schedule to ensure rapid response to all situation impacting health and safety of residential program participants. •Serves as mandated reporter for suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Regional Center, California Department of Public Health, Adult Protective Services, and local law enforcement •Manages quality assurance program including on site evaluations, internal audits and customer surveys. •Develop team communications and information for monthly manager meetings.
