Serata Geomechanics Work Values

Daily Duties at Serata Geomechanics:

I had multiple responsibilities. I machined parts using the lathe, mill, drill press, polymer injection fixtures. I would assemble electro-mechanical devices used to take measurements in boreholes in the mines. I would solder and wire electrical cables, test the devices and then complete the mechanical assemblies. I prepare rock samples for testing in the laboratory. I travelled to Kentucky where I worked for 3 weeks in a coal mine gathering data with our instruments. I worked underground in a coal mine installing equipment and taking readings.
