Daily Duties at Summit:

Promoted to position after proven accomplishments in the inside sales position. Continued to maintain functions associated with inside sales as well as the new responsibilities due to lack of personnel. Oversaw all functions to include customer service, billing of customers’ accounts and auditing of billing transactions, daily receipts close out and accounts receivable deposits. Managed inventory receipts consisting of input of purchase orders, receiving worksheets, matching of receipts to vendor invoices and processing of invoices for payment. Inventory control included purchasing, reduction of and maintaining as well as responsible for the Returned Goods Area (RGA). Trained personnel and handled Quality Management Standards documentation monthly per Summit and ISO 9000 standards. • Brought new level of urgency and consistency to the position never realized at this branch. • Returned $68,000 of inventory to Vendors that had been sitting in RGA, some of which had been there two years or more. • Reviewed and input customer credits and returns on a timely basis. • Brought Accounts Payable current – eliminated a year old backlog. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (INSIDE SALES) QUOTATIONS – Provided inside sales assistance to outside sales and counter operation. Responded to electrical contractors quotation needs in a timely manner. • Handled jobs from Quote Form to completion. • Switchgear quotations using Eaton Cutler Hammer Bid Manager. • Entered counter, phone and fax orders. • Purchased items to complete jobs. • Handled 34% of total Branch Sales. COUNTER SUPERVISOR – Provided excellent service to customers in their electrical and telecom needs. Oversaw all functions associated with operation of the counter. • Grew Counter business by 22% with excellent service. • Maintained stock in Counter Area for Quick Service. • Rearranged Counter and Display Area which in turn increased sales. WAREHOUSE MANAGER – Supervised personnel to provide overall logistical support of all receiving, stocking, and shipping for commercial customers. Coordinated schedules and driver for up to 400 deliveries per month and as well as using UPS, FedEx and common carriers to expedite freight. • Exceeded expectations of our customers with prompt and accurate deliveries. • Improved housekeeping and safety standards with neat, organized warehouse. • Participated in ISO 9000 certification process. • Experience in material handling equipment.
