Daily Duties at Rexel Electric Supply:
Prepare and quote projects in commercial, industrial and residential applications for electrical contractors. To include switchgear, lighting and other miscellaneous as needed. • Review project specifications and blue prints to prepare quotations for electrical contractors. • Switchgear quotations using Square D systems to quote. • Prepare submittals for contractor, architect, engineer, project manager and owner for final review and approval. • Upon submittal approval release orders to vendors and purchase items from vendors identified in contract specifications.. • Project Management in house software to track delivery of items for each project and maintain proof of shipment to contractors. • Update contractor on estimated shipment and arrival dates • Initiate expediting in cases where items were not shipped on time. • Bill contractors based on vendors invoices and shipping documents. • Provide closeout manuals on completion of project.
