● Served as deputy director of a division with approximately 100 employees, with direct supervisory authority over six executive administrators and a program coordinator. ● Assisted the division director as her principal advisor and performed the director’s duties in her absence. ● Provided subject-matter expertise to the director and department, particularly in the areas of public records requests, communications and public relations, continuing education requirements for licensure, regulation review and reform and maritime commerce. ● Prepared policy documents, including legislative proposals and transition plans, and advised regulatory boards.
