Daily Duties at Frontier Insurance Company:
I was given the assignment to runoff the healthcare division business when the carrier was placed in receivership and under the direction of NYS Liquidation Bureau. My job was to be sure all current business was sent notice in accordance with DOI regulations as to why we were no longer writing business, follow guidelines as to what,if any, recourse the insured had, the time frame of the notice and do this with limited staff and limited resources for all fifty states. In addition, appear in court on behalf of FIC in Rehabilitation and act as claim examiner for an average of 80 claims for MPL.
