Conducted and supervised the Corporate Internal Audit activities in Asia and the Caribbean, which included financial audits in accordance with USGAAP & IFRS, operations review, fraud detection and prevention, process improvement and re-engineering, IT audit and regulatory compliance with local laws. Provided guidance and direction to the Internal Audit Departments based in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the Philippines. Handled special projects that were assigned by the Board of Directors and Corporate Management from time to time, including due diligence of potential business acquisitions, fraud investigations, accounting and finance assistance in troubled operations, financial modeling and feasibility study reviews.
