Daily Duties at Jdsu/Viavi:
As Solution Architect I worked closely with Business Development, Marketing,Executives, Sales and one on one with Customers to understand and gather requirements and use cases, identify gaps in our product offerings. Participated in weekly Customer calls to ensure Viavi was continually meeting Customer expectations. Repeatedly architected successful solutions for the Services Enablement Group based on Customer’s needs. I have a necessary understanding of the Network Elements’ behavior as a Solution Architecture in the Ethernet Space. Interacted with Network Elements like Juniper, Alcatel, Cisco, Juniper, Adva, Accedian, Huawei etc. for the automation of configurations via the QT600. As Development Manager of the QT600 and QT200 I ensured my teams and other teams in a cross functional environment, understood the Customer and Management expectations, delivered functionality for the QT products based on commitments to the company. I was part of the project management team for Service Enablement Group which understood schedules, functionality sizing, resolve roadblocks which would pop up, developed documentation dashboards to communicate project’s progress for consumption by Service Enablement group as a whole. Point person for Customer escalations.
