Daily Duties at Amd:
Developed next generation processing techniques that were viable and manufacturable for both AMD and Motorola; successfully transferred processes to manufacturing teams of both corporations. • Aligned schedules, activities and project goals to meet technology roadmaps of both corporations. Corrected catastrophic yield problem at AMD. Coordinated efforts, developed plans and schedules with scores of internal and external tool and material suppliers / cross-functional teams to identify yield limiting drivers and implement solutions. Co-led and developed defect team of 12 who led improvement activities for 150+. • Led and developed a diverse, industry recognized TPM team of multi-disciplined employees to realize a 50% increase in Overall equipment efficiency (Oee); created a more self-directed work force, introducing and tracking key metrics for performance improvement in the unit. Managed shift of 25, developing team into multi-skilled, self-directed workforce, increasing output by 20%. • Singlehandedly reduced rework by 50% saving hundreds of thousands in annual production costs.
