Daily Duties at Prince George's County Police Department:
Management level position responsible for directing the activities of the Narcotic Enforcement Division ● Supervised 3 lieutenants, 10 Sergeants, 70 investigators and 8 civilian employees ● Reviewed reports, correspondence, and projects for the commander's’ approval ● Monitored activity of all grants awarded to the Division and prepared required progress reports ● Performed daily management of the Division consisting of units assigned to the areas of narcotic conspiracy, street level narcotics, interdiction, asset forfeiture, federal drug task forces, criminal intelligence and homeland security ● Represented the Department on various professional and community boards ASSISTANT COMMANDER, CAPTAIN / Criminal Investigations Division (CID) ● Managed day to day operation and supervision of 120 sworn and civilian employees assigned to CID ● Oversaw investigations involving homicides, robberies, sexual assaults, and financial crimes ● Ensured subordinates were updated on all recent Supreme and State Court decisions involving investigations ● Established policy for the coordinated effort for CID consistent with departmental directives
