Daily Duties at Skf Group Purchasing:
Promoted to Transparency to developed implement global Conflict Minerals program. Took over project from legal department. Conducted due diligence on supplier submissions including reviewing for Office of Foreign Asset Control issues and requiring corrective actions. Worked with suppliers to resolve product issues for quality and compliance and assisted sale in addressing customer issues. Customers included GM, Ford, Chrysler, and NAPA. Supervised 2 auditor and one part time. Traveled to suppliers in US, Argentina, Brazil, India, China, and various countries in Europe. Audited suppliers to Code of Conduct in the Americas as part of Supplier Development for health, safety, environment, labor, and social issues. Reviewed and approved suppliers’ corrective actions (CA) and preventive actions (PA). develop and clear up any ambiguities for suppliers. Created a risk assessment to determine which suppliers were high risks would be audited.
