Daily Duties at Guardsmark Llc:
Director level position with a top five national security firm. ● Successfully manage and lead a security force of 220 officers, 8 protective services and account managers, human resources, business development manager, and administrative support personnel ● Oversee the management of numerous security accounts and portfolios ● Meet on a regular basis with client Security Directors and Managers to gauge the preparedness and effectiveness of current security procedures and policies; develop and implement advanced security procedures and policies which include current best practices of many Federal Law Enforcement Agencies ● Conduct background investigations for applicants pursuing a position of management or security officer and interviews and background investigations on existing employees for promotion ● Assembled and directed protection teams for visiting dignitaries during the 2009 Presidential Inauguration ● Work closely with Federal and Local Law Enforcement Agencies during the numerous heightened security alerts ● Prepare and Implement a budget that exceeds $1,000,000 annually including monthly P&L management ● Manage all labor issues to include representing Guardsmark, LLC to include background investigations in wage and benefit negotiations, grievance and unemployment hearings, and ensuring the compliance of all city and federal labor laws and procedures; update managers on the latest Federal and Local court decisions concerning security or labor related issues
