Daily Duties at Zel Technologies:

Served as Senior Proposal Manager/Writer for IT; information assurance and security; system engineering; integrated logistics; and modeling, simulation and training proposals. Managed multiple, concurrent proposals to defense, intelligence, civilian and law enforcement agencies of the U.S. government, DOD, U.S. Air Force and intelligence community for dispersed teams of Capture Managers, internal SMEs and subcontractors for contracts valued up to $4B. Actively participated in bid/no-bid decisions, strategy meetings and customer oral presentation preparations with Capture Managers, SMEs and VPs. Consolidated, distilled and refined SME input and drafted and edited sections. Assisted in addressing customer hot buttons to develop strategies and win themes; assisted VP of Business Development in setting goals, targeting customers, establishing strategic partner relationships and pursuing new business. Managed all aspects of proposal development from assignment, capture and receipt of RFP, through oversight and tracking of all activities relevant to proposal development, revision and delivery; overseeing/preparing/ supporting detailed proposal plans, schedules, outlines and compliance matrices for assigned pursuits; assigning key proposal leaders; managing budgets; coordinating and leading proposal activities such as kick-off meetings, strategy meetings, stand-up meetings, data calls and Pink, Red and Gold team reviews; and supporting the monitoring of proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.  Displays ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and numerous proposals; manage multiple priorities; effectively balance conflicting priorities; and negotiate internally and externally at high levels and with persons of influence.  Consistently meets and often exceeds customer expectations and organization goals; juggles well under tight deadlines; demonstrates excellent attention to detail and very strong interpersonal, management, problem-solving and organizational skills; exhibits highly developed project management abilities; delivers compelling, compliant, on-time proposals; a results-oriented team player and leader who inspires staff loyalty with her positive, collaborative approach and works effectively with junior staff and Brigadier Generals.
