Daily Duties at Ascension Healthcare Information Services:
Developed, reviewed, updated and managed all telecommunications systems and servers to support overall operations in Wisconsin while overseeing a staff of nine analysts and six contracted technicians. Handled hiring, training plans, managing employees, and determined project objectives to be followed by telecommunications staff. Managed change control and developed and implemented processes and procedures for telecommunications, driving continuous improvement. Provided vision and guidance for the enterprise’s collaboration roadmap and provided strategic leadership for the organization. Projected and prepared bid specifications for various vendors and projects such as construction projects, upgrades and maintenance. Provide back-up support to Telecommunications team and other IS Managers. Responsible for managing the budget and invoicing process with vendors to ensure an optimized process for tracking and paying invoices.
