Daily Duties at Vacco Industries:

Manage and lead the IT team with their day to day operational tasks as follows: 1. Chaired IT Steering Committee (ITSC) to understand the business initiatives and/or collect the business needs to form the Vision doc in Initial Phase of IT SDLC. 2. Provided IT Methodology for planning actions (IT Project Action Plan) and documenting business requirements (BRD) in regards to 2.1. Developing new systems, 2.2. Assessing existing systems and files, 2.3. Transforming legacy system, and 2.4. Migrating legacy data. 3. Led major projects to 3.1. Analyze new interfaces between business initiatives and legacy systems, 3.2. Document the function and data gaps, and provide program authorizations. 4. Participated in the Unit Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test by 4.1. Planning, documenting, and executing Test Cases in IT Smoke Testing (IST), 4.2. Outlining, preparing, and executing Test Scenarios in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 4.3. Coordinating between business and IT: 4.3.1. Rollout Planning - to rollout the new and updated applications to Production 4.3.2. Decommission Planning – to get rid of the legacy system and its data.
