Daily Duties at Acme Packet, Inc:
• Partnered with leadership team to establish strategic staffing plans and executed all full-lifecycle recruiting processes for Software and Hardware Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance & Administration. Integral contributing member bringing company from 180 employees worldwide to headcount of 890 prior to acquisition. • Responsible for annual college recruitment program working with six local universities to establish a presence on campus and increase hiring of new graduates. • Responsible for a broad range of compensation and benefits administration including salary survey participation, annual salary planning, and sales and sales support incentive compensation. Benefits administration and annual renewals of medical, dental, life, LTD, STD, worker’s compensation, 401k, and ESPP. • Partnered with Immigration law firm to secure new and renewed H-1B, TN, and L-1 work visas for 70+ employees and work with employee, management, and law firm on Permanent Residency Application process. • Spearheaded annual performance based stock program from generating reports, partnering with management on guidelines, employee nominations, and generating recommendations for BOD Compensation Committee approval. • Stock Option Administrator for day to day transactions with Equity Edge/E*trade software. • Worked with Facilities organization on OSHA compliance with regards to annual reporting, poster compliance and ergonomic evaluations. • Participated in major projects such as: Acme Packet’s Initial Public Offering, Stock Option Tender Offer, three company acquisitions, and Lead HR contact on acquisition by Oracle.
