Daily Duties at Senior Design Project: Electric Vehicle Conversion:
Delegate responsibilities and tasks to a team of two Mechanical Engineers towards the successful conversion of a 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle to a vehicle that is electrically powered. Develop computer models using Excel, SOLIDWORKS & COMSOL to simulate the behavior of various materials under load conditions specified from our list of vehicle performance specifications. Prepared and balanced a budget along with an estimated lifetime of the retrofit application in order to assess important cost metrics for the end-user benefit.
