Daily Duties at Journal Of Medical Insight:

I am part of the impact team in the company. This department is responsible for making connections with customers, which are institutions and individuals who are JoMI’s subscribers or potential subscribers. Because the company’s CEO puts an emphasize on the subscription from medical schools, it becomes the target customer that we communicate with for most of the time. Normally a school will subscribe when there is demand among students. While my coworker focuses on trading with institutions to generate sales and managing the relationship with existed customers to maintain subscription. My responsibility is to develop strategies to promote JoMI’s usage among subscribed institutions and non-subscribed institutions. Even though when a school already subscribed, students still need to be aware of JoMI as an available resource. The school tends to continue to subscribe next year if students are using JoMI as a resource. In conclusion, we are working together to create value for both b2b and b2c costumers.

What they like about Journal Of Medical Insight:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
