Daily Duties at Equinix:

• Manage Real Estate & Facilities departments $6.2 million operations budget by providing variance reports to Management • Develop and lead company Safety Team providing emergency response preparedness and First Aid/CPR Certification • Conceptualize space design and layout of corporate headquarters and satellite locations in North America • Provide on call support in case of emergencies or off-hours issues at headquarters • Assume leadership role for functional Business Continuity Planning, including emergency response and business disaster recovery • Manage TI project build-outs and renovations to corporate and satellite offices working with architects and project managers • Manage headquarters and remote offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Denver and Los Angeles • Manage procurement and maintenance & upgrades of furniture, HVAC, security systems and & signage for multiple facilities • Provide mentoring to Facilities Coordinators and developing their skill sets • Effectively delegate task responsibility through ticketing system and improved leverage • Maintain department preventative maintenance calendar • Provide leadership by having bi-weekly team meetings helping the Facilities team to better manage their time and give feedback to make the team more productive
