Daily Duties at University Of Miami\School Of Comm.:
Managed and supervised the day-to-day operations of nearly 60,000 SQ feet of facilities which included but not limited to, access control, space assignment for staff and faculty (using space management software), and special events. Scheduled the maintenance and repair (as needed) of facilities spaces in coordination with the central campus facilities department. Provided infrastructure and technical support too over 80 faculty members, 52 staff members, over 1200 students, and countless numbers of visitors, I was responsible for supporting 19 classrooms with audiovisual projections system, two television studios, 16 enterprises high volume Canon printers, over 200 hundred dual boot MAC workstations, and 200 seat theater. Managed and supervised a call center responsible for operational and technical calls which providing support from 8:00 AM to Midnight Monday through Friday. All calls for support were tracked by using a cloud base ticketing system. Main focal point for all renovation, and large-scale construction and Information Technology projects, attended weekly meetings (depending on the scope of the project), coordinating with the central campus facilities project manager, vendors, contractors, and engineers were a must.
