Daily Duties at Texas Beverage Supply:
Started in 2006 with one warehouse in Austin and 2 product lines: slush and margarita mix. After 5 years, we grew to 4 warehouses with 8 different product lines serving Dallas-Fort Worth, Abilene, San Antonio, Austin, Houston and the Valley. Managed the entire sales process from cold calls, trade shows and referrals. Collaborated with Supplier Representatives on their product sales with current and prospective customers in the field and at industry trade shows. In turn strengthening our relationships with customer base. Implemented new and innovative sales programs, pricing structures, and sale pieces. Created 2 tier pricing between chain and independent locations. This was effective in gaining over 10 chain accounts. Started new programs for the company including “bag-in-the-box”, “slush”, “frozen carbonated beverage”, “coffee/tea”, and “concession items”. This allowed us to offer customers more programs, thus allowing for larger case drops, sales revenue increase per stop and gross profit increase per stop.
What they like about Texas Beverage Supply:
Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
