Daily Duties at Ier Energia:
As an intern at IER my responsibilities were to develop a technical and feasibility study of available energy storage technologies for a 20MW electricity storage facility in support of a 100MW photovoltaic power plant. Technical research was performed to determine what technologies were most advanced and reliable, and what extent of the technical design should be done by EIR and what percentage should be contracted to remain profitable for upfront, capital cost and future energy sales predictions in the Chilean energy market.
