Daily Duties at Morris Heights Health Center:
Managed operations to successfully drive the performance of patient care services including Primary Care and Specialty Practices, Long-Term Care, Urgent Care Center, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Referral, Patient Advocacy, Mobile Van and Call Center departments. Ensured that all regulatory laws that governed the health care institution were upheld and represented patient care issues at the highest level of the institution. Oversaw allocation of resources to ensure safe & quality patient care along with monitoring activities to ensure that the practice environment was conducted in a safe and trusting setting. Established, implemented & monitored strategic business development & marketing plans while ensuring compliance with, local, state & federal regulations. Setup the Physical Therapy department & expanded Digital Radiology Service Line; led the development of organization’s first care coordination plan & coordinated ICD-10 implementation.
