Daily Duties at Continental Airlines:
Senior Aircraft Production Controller, responsible for planning, coordinating and directing major maintenance overhaul work packages assigned to aircraft, validate compliance of workload in addition to maintaining accurate record keeping while ensuring FAA compliance. Provide the daily update information to Strategic Planning via conference calls regarding aircraft check status and ETR changes. Participate in multilevel and multi-departmental projects. Avionics Line Technician, responsible for maintaining, operating, troubleshooting and modifying sensitive aircraft electronic systems including ILS, Glideslope, Marker Beacon, VHF Comm, ATC Mode S Transponder, Airborne Radar and certifying CAT IIIB systems on B737NG, B757, B767 and B777 aircraft. (Position held Mar 06 to Oct 08) FAA License Airframe and Power Plant Technician, responsible for routine, heavy maintenance and ensuring the performance and safety of the company’s fleet of B737, B757 aircraft. Avionics Modification Specialist, responsible for initial system installs which includes: Sat-Com, In-Flight Entertainment, Electronic Flight Bag, B737 Rudder PCU Mod, Fuel wiring separation and software Loads. Heavy equipment operation including fuel trucks, powered lifts, aircraft towing vehicles and hydraulic mules. Trained on and handling hazardous materials.
