Daily Duties at Rodale Inc.:

Led the day-to-day financial planning and analysis activities for various brands including month end close, forecast and annual budget preparation. Reviewed and approved journal entries. Evaluated financial performance, prepared variance analysis, drafted comprehensive P&L forecasts and championed the strategic plan development. Prepared and reviewed journal entries, provided detailed P&L and Balance Sheet commentary and delivered the monthly reporting package. Established and assured adherence to budgetary guidelines. Created business plans on new initiatives, tracked progress and made recommendations to maximize return on investments. Collaborated with senior management to develop and administer the yearly sales incentive compensation plans to ensure individual goals were aligned with brand and company goals. Hired, trained and managed a team of Finance Managers and Analysts.
