Daily Duties at General Dynamics Land Systems:
• Vehicle system level evaluation of IPT interferences, space claims, and tolerance stacks. • Pro/Engineer r2001, Intralink 3.1. Top down design, large assembly management, and shrink-wraps. • Modeled preliminary harnesses using Pro/Pipe. Harnesses were later modeled using Pro/Cable. • Determined location of welded appurtenances and located harness clamps throughout the vehicle. • Rerouted harnesses through new clamp locations as necessary. • Designed and retrofitted structural support for Aberdeen’s test equipment into EFV. • Worked with FEA engineering department to optimize a structural support for the 250 LB load. • Provided mass and CG analysis reports as required.
