Daily Duties at Becker Middle School:
Planned and opened a new middle school which included planning the building to meet middle school program needs; interviewing and hiring all faculty and staff; developing a unique school plan that extended the school day, added one extra class per day, and included interdisciplinary teaming, access to art and music classes, including a one-of-a-kind guitar class in partnership with Fender. This unique school plan resulted in recognition as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U. S. Department of Education in 2000.
