This subsidiary's main activity consisted of purchasing inventory from a 50% owned investment located in Chile and selling the inventory purchased to divisions located in the United States. -- Liability report for claims involving general, auto, and workman's compensation for all divisions of Woodgrain Millwork. -- Safety reports that included information regarding the number of accidents that occurred on a monthly basis, the expense incurred, hours worked, and other measures used by the corporate HR department to measure performance. -- Actual vs Budget reports that explained variances for the sawmill division mentioned above -- Return on net assets for all divisions Other: -- Prepared or authorized check, ACH, and wire transactions -Woodgrain Millwork --Vertically integrated --Three divisions: Millwork, windows, distribution ----A new division had begun operating just before I left (lumber/sawmill) ----The millwork division included a subdivision that fabricated doors ----The millwork division also fabricated products to be sold to external customers and other divisions. The products included processed wood used to create doors and windows and moldings that were sold to distributors or construction companies. ---- Large company, in this case, is defined as 500+ million in sales revenue per year -Accounting team consisted of: --CFO --Corporate controller --Accounting Manager --Two staff accountants --One senior accountant --One to two interns (3-month internships)
