Daily Duties at Accenture:

o Accenture hired and relocated me from Dallas, Texas to South Africa to head Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS) and Accenture Technology Infrastructure Services (ATIS) for the African market. In this role, I got involved in the electronics payments & settlement mechanisms across Africa. From the onset, I worked with the Accenture Financial Services (FS) practice to promote inter-bank payments and settlement mechanisms across the banking industry in English speaking Africa. o Delivered several lectures payments & settlements, including emerging payment trends and schemes, Banking licensing requirements and frameworks, and regulatory policies that led to the development of campaign management and promotional strategies in achieving sales targets and revenue generation for Accenture, thus contributing 27.5% profit to the EMEA bottom-line. o Developed a Centre of Excellence (CoC) environment, and facilitated hiring, skills acquisition & training of C&HT, ATS, ATIS resources in executing the business strategy for sales target actualization.

You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
