Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:
o Appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of HP Africa, and hired as the MD/CEO, I led a staff strength of 130 personnel, and key Distributors & Reseller Partners in executing the strategy for HP’s Business Development, execution of its sales & marketing strategy in the actualization of sales targets, and revenue generation, which generated 45% profit growth in 2 years, about 25% of overall Africa sales, which contributed to HP’s status as #1 IT Company in EMEA. o Developed solution selling initiatives across the Financial Services (Banks & Insurance companies), Telecommunications & Hi-Tech, Wholesale & Retail, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing & Distribution across Private & Public Sector Clients in EMEA. o Assisted the EMEA HP Leadership team in cross-selling of HP products, outsourcing and managed services, thus enhancing business performance, both within Technology Solutions Group (TSG) and with shared services across Business Lines. o Acted as the ambassador for HP at an African level, and led the deployment of top end HP Superdome servers, blade servers, Laptops, Printers, and ink cartridge products across EMEA. o Financial performance Optimization/ROI contributed to $150 million in revenue growth by collaborating with authorized HP Distributors & Reseller Vendors and the Business Lines (Hardware, Software, SaaS, Printers & Imaging, and Outsourcing & Managed Services) which led to the highest recorded ROIs for the African Subsidiary.
