Daily Duties at Enercon:
Principal I&C Lead Engineer in ENERCON’s Chief Engineering Organization Digital & Instrumentation and Control Group (January 2016 to present) in Kennesaw, Ga. providing governance over Power Group processes, practices and guidelines for the Electrical/I&C Discipline to ensure standardization, consistency, utilization of best practices and efficiency in execution of ENERCON projects. Additional responsibilities include supervision of ten direct reports within the group. Deliverables supported include engineering design and cost estimate proposals, engineering calculations, engineering studies/reports, independent design reviews, project assessments and design change packages involving all aspects of instrumentation and controls. Extensive experience in the preparation and/or review of instrument calculations (e.g., uncertainty, setpoint, scaling and drift analysis for calibration test interval frequency extensions (EPRI TR-103335 and Generic Letter 91-04)) for design changes and design modifications to ensure adherence to all industry and company standards, including ISA S67.04.01-1994 and basic methodology. Experience with performance of Qualitative Assessments per NRC Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2002-22 and NEI 01-01.
