Daily Duties at Daifuku, Els:
Controls Technician for a 2-million ft2 package handling and distribution warehouse with 13 miles of conveyors and 4,800 robots. As a Control Systems Technician I perform maintenance on diverse automated systems using knowledge of electrical schematics; Allen Bradly programming and logic design; Profibus analysis; network connectivity diagnosis; variable frequency drive functions; HMI use and programming; Cognex and Sick Scanner functions; mechanical systems function and repair as well as utilizing remote contractor support. System failure and troubleshooting is followed by root cause analysis and peer-to-peer training of acquired knowledge and skills.
