Daily Duties at Parrish Shaw & Co.:

• As Regional Sales Manager at ParrishShaw I was responsible for new customer development as well as continued customer service for existing clients. My duties included but are not limited to: - Assisted with all aspects of marketing and client relations - New Business Development - Contract negotiation - Monthly reporting to Client Partners. Department Head • Managed a Department consisting of two groups with a total of 15 to 20 healthcare professionals working claims, an administrative assistant and a secretary. The Department was responsible for 20,000 claims valued in excess of $50 Million dollars. My duties includes: - Reported directly to the owners of the company - Participated in making corporate policy and setting the vision and strategic direction of the company - Responsible for all aspects of personnel management for the Department - Responsible for providing technical and personnel direction to all members of the Department - Personally responsible for high dollar claims worth $2.5 Million requiring the resolution of complex denial issues - Interfaced with patients and insurance companies on the more complex issues associated with the final appeal process.
