Daily Duties at Ascent Revenue Management / Gala Laboratories / United Pathology:
• As Director of Business Development for Ascent Revenue Management / GALA Laboratories / United Pathology I am responsible for new customer development as well as continued customer service for existing clients. My duties include but are not limited to: - Conference scheduling, and participation - Assisted with all aspects of marketing and client relations - New Business Development - Contract negotiation - Monthly reporting to Client Partners. Revenue Cycle Manager • When I held this position I was responsible for all aspects of the revenue cycle for over 60 clients: - Managed a team of 30 professionals consisting of certified coders, insurance billers, patient collectors and payment posters - Lead the recruiting efforts - Directly involved in all aspects of human resources to include hiring, firing, disciplinary action and promoting from within the organization. • My effective management resulted in decreased cost and increased revenue for client partners.
