Daily Duties at Trident Systems:

• Project management of all mechanical related product development. Serve as SME and POC for all mechanical, PDM/PLM and CM related to product development. Provide leadership, authority and accountability for successful execution and completion of mechanical engineering projects. Direct report tasking and collaboration with Systems, Electrical and Software engineers to support scheduling. • Provide technical direction and oversight of the mechanical engineering staff. Responsible for allocating mechanical engineering resources to cognizant projects. Oversee development and enforcement of mechanical engineering processes. Responsible for mechanical engineer staff reviews. • Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure mechanical engineering functions are appropriately staffed. • Interface with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Contracts, Human resources, Security and Info Technology Directors required for project-related matters. Maintain supplier/subcontractor relationships. • Lead implementation of Dassault's (SolidWorks) PDM/PLM Professional application. Including customization to companies PDM/PLM process development. • Provide proposal, BOE, SOW, PDR and CDR assistance and reporting as related to a product’s mechanical requirements and associated disciplines. • Coordinate design activities, review designs and provide DFM and DFA input.
