Daily Duties at Cae Usa:

• Develop and review course materials with input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including but not limited to: selection of appropriate instructional methods. • Develop instructionally sound course objectives. • Design and development of realistic scenarios and case studies. • Design and development of valid assessment tools. • Ensure traceability of all changes that have been implemented and validated on the training system throughout each project contract. • Develops special program–oriented procedures related to ISD support. • Establish and revise processes for instructional design across an extensive curriculum. • Responsible for developing, conducting, and analyzing training needs assessments for assigned projects. • Assist in the development of different levels of training tasks and products against training requirements. • Design and improve learning tools and development processes. • Document and present tool and methodology ideas to the CAE instructional design community. • Proactively prioritize efforts to meet course milestones. • Apply Instructional System design (ISD) principles of training goals/objectives. • Rewrite and/or edit training materials to reflect good grammar and visual appearance without altering the meaning of author’s original thought. • Conduct peer reviews to verify production in accordance with established quality standards. • Ensure material and graphics are proofread for content and correct word usage. • Consult with customers on performance management and instructional strategies. • Interface with CAE USA courseware project managers to confirm instructional methods and sequences are being followed. • Perform final editorial review and participate or lead trial instruction/evaluation of all modified courseware. • Coordinate activities of SME’s to produce static and interactive course materials to be presented during classroom and flight simulator instruction. • Employing industry standard software, format technical documents to a specific standard, import supporting graphic content and prepare for distribution in the classroom. • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators and associated metrics to ensure timely delivery of changed material.
