Daily Duties at St. Luke's Hospital:
-Telemetry RN, on a 24 bed step down unit For approx. three yrs. Staff nurse with occasional charge duties. Started IV's, passed medications, assisted MD's with procedures -Ambulatory Surgery 24 bed unit for approx. 9-10 yrs. with Charge duties. Prepared pt's for the Operating room and received them back on the unit after the PACU to recover the post op pt, teach them what they needed to know and discharged home. Also, upon arrival in the morning, prepared unit for the day. Registered Nurse who planned, developed, implemented, administered, evaluated and updated specialized plans of treatment and preventive care regimens in accordance with medical orders and nursing standards, and also annotated medical records in accordance with established procedures, implemented infection control protocols, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.
