Daily Duties at Career Education Corporation:
Campus Director, Kitchen Academy Hollywood, April 2005-January 2007 Spearheaded launch of new startup school with new curriculum, management of day-to-day operations, and upholding all metrics including starts, retention, and placement. Managed 15 million dollar a year business overseeing P&L, purchasing, labor scheduling, training, safety, and supervision of all staff. Audited actual performance numbers and compared them to budget projections, as well as working closely with all department managers to review and update budgets accordingly. Hired and managed all new staff and faculty, totaling over 40 employees, as well as controlling fiscal budget staying at or below all measured targets, including retention, admissions, and operating costs. Opened other Kitchen Academy locations country-wide, overseeing construction, hiring, and preparation for opening campus.
