Daily Duties at U.S. Marine Corps:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute headquarters-level logistics plans and operations in support of Marine Corps forces and commands throughout the Service. - Focus on gaps in current and future operational and tactical requirements and assess material solutions to provide plans of action and milestones that improve processes and enhance warfighting capabilities and readiness. - Develop, implement, and manage projects in support of Marine Corps expeditionary logistics planning and operations. - Research and provide vital inputs to technical acquisition guidance for the integration of advanced innovation concepts, capabilities, and technology in support of strategic, operational and tactical logistics solutions. - Regularly liaise with Marine Corps, other Service, combatant, and national-level commands and organizations to marshal and share logistics resources, develop synergies and improve global interoperability and operational effectiveness on a consistent basis. - Review, assess, and report the status of Service-wide logistics support; actions inform and enable senior leader decision-making in support of force generation, deployment, and sustainment requirements. - Utilize knowledge of military supply, maintenance, transportation, and base life support systems to develop and implement logistics services for deployed forces. - Draft, compile, and present sourcing requirements for service components in all classes of sustainment (major end items, munitions, clothing, equipment, etc.),
