Daily Duties at Centurylink:

o Directed database cleanup efforts for CTS Compensation Systems; also led data analysis using the order/billing system and Microsoft Excel to resolve payment issues as needed o Called on SQL to update the database to add, delete or update information; lead procedures for the monthly compensation cycle; also worked with Oracle & SQL Server to wire SQL queries o Assessed data and researched database issues as they arose o Validated pay files during the monthly cycle for sales compensation o Researched and resolved Sales Representative issues with payments and communicated resolutions for issues to business end-users o Ensured consistency and timeliness across all systems and reports o Devised SQL queries to research, assess or manipulate information across databases o Wrote, updated and maintained computer programs or SSIS packages to handle specific jobs during production o Updated monthly user tables for use across departments o Offered consistent, continued production support on a monthly basis o Assumed ownership for internal payment processes o Modified or expanded upon system processes to keep workflows smooth and help them achieve new purpose o Wrote management reports that defined and analyzed production data o Utilized project management savvy to test new compensation systems; for example, created database analyses that detected system redundancies and created system projects that brought financial gain to the company o Assumed full ownership for all projects, including 24/7 maintenance and work on weekends, holidays and other off-times to demonstrate an unwavering dedication to each project’s success
