Daily Duties at City Of San Diego:
Utilizes GIS applications to create complex designs, maps and drawings. Inventory management section catalogs and tracks everything from work completed within the street right of way. Using state of the art GIS systems and software co-designed that we can analyze the condition of streets slated for repair and even use global positioning. Operate various computer software’s (ArcGIS, SAP, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher). Performed field inspection to locate as needed utilities to incorporate into the project. Coordinated with outside utilities, Project Management, coordination and scheduling. Working on an Intergraph CADD system to provide construction drawing. Perform complex calculations. Assist engineers in the design, field inspection and construction of water and sewer systems projects. Perform research of As-Built drawing and other recorded documents related to the projects. Assist engineers in performing mains inspection, surveying of pipeline alignment and verification of elevations. Involvement in community meeting. For proposed projects. Generated project displays. Maps and display for meeting and city council presentations by using CADD. Operated various commuted software’s (Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, FloMonster, Slope Calculation and PowerPoint).
