Daily Duties at Continental Ag:

As the North American Training Coordinator, my duties included coordination of all training, both internal and external. Much of the training was created for new hire orientation, the developmental coaching of departmental coaches, safety in the workplace and diversity compliance. My external training coordination revolved around problem solving techniques, conflict resolution and personal communication skills as well as specific requests such as quality related classes. For these sessions I would research and approve vendors and instructors, as well as coordinate dates, venues, and supplies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. It was my responsibility to maintain training schedules, report on training outcomes to desired goal of 98% for completion of scheduled training classes and maintain all training records, all training procedures and processes while updating as needed.

What they like about Continental Ag:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
