Daily Duties at Wackenhut Services:

• Human Resources Business Partner - Partnered with leadership teams to understand key business priorities and HR implications. Partnered with Deputy Program Manager and local leaders to drive performance and change management programs. Established and maintained strong relationships with both leadership and contract teams by providing effective and thoughtful advice and coaching. • Benefits and Payroll– Provided expert and accurate advice to employees on issues related to employee benefits. Managed overall benefit plan review, administration, selection, policy development, and communication. Enrolled employees in benefit plans and made updates as needed; coordinated payroll contributions. Processed status changes, and processed and reconciled monthly benefits related invoices. Processed bi-weekly, multi-state payroll using in-house software, including W4 and state tax information, direct deposit, and benefits withholdings. Processed various garnishments such as child and medical support orders, and tax liens. • Talent Acquisition – Performed full-cycle recruiting for cleared and un-cleared positions, supporting the Army Guard contract technical and non-technical positions. Developed and executed a recruitment plan including job postings, net-working, and direct sourcing. Built quality relationships with business leaders and partners. Conducted screening and job interviews for all open positions. Managed a high volume of open positions and screened candidates in a professional, efficient and effective manner. • Compliance – In accordance with OFCCP, SCA, Ethics, Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), EEO-1, VETS 100, and OSHA programs. • Employee Relations - Provided quality guidance to managers and employees in all areas of employee and labor relations, performance management, rewards, and recognition, and benefits administration servicing 750 employees.
