Daily Duties at Amsec:
• Talent Acquisition – Compliance and Project Lead for the Talent Acquisition Team. Led the organization outreach strategy by building relationships with military affiliates, colleges/universities, industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and attended job fairs. Tracked and followed-up with candidates; maintained records through Kenexa Applicant Tracking System. Posted job openings on multiple recruiting platforms and company website for cleared and un-cleared positions. • Compliance - Responsible for activities related to Ethics compliance, OFCCP, SCA, government planning and reporting, including the timely preparation and submission of information to applicable governmental agencies. Coordinate preparation of EEO-1/Affirmative Action Plan/VETS 4212 reporting. Partnered with Human Resources Managers and coordinated the review of all pay practices, including minimum wage and overtime compensation, for compliance with FLSA standards and state laws. • Employee Relations – Led complex, and detailed employee relations reviews, summarized findings in a written report and present report findings to Executive Team. Instrumental in revamping investigation in take time and reporting time from 3 weeks to 1 week. Revamped and redesigned employee onboarding process leading to an increase in employee satisfactory experience rating from 20% to 85% satisfactory experience rating.
