Daily Duties at Engility Tasc:
Performed as Senior Program Security Representative for three major DARPA acquisition programs. Provided life-cycle development and protection for research, development, and test & evaluation for these programs. Interacted closely with the government Program Security Officer, Program Managers, and other technical staff to assist in determining, interpreting, and applying security policy and requirements applicable to assigned technical office programs. Identify and manage security risks associated with assigned programs. Worked directly with DARPA senior security staff to establish security compartments, develop security classification guides, write and coordinated DOD Contract Security Classification Specifications, and, in coordination with DARPA program performer security staffs, select, interpret, and implement information, industrial, physical, and personnel security policy applicable to DARPA programs. Interfaced routinely with Information Assurance professionals to implement and manage the IT Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Managed data within numerous security management databases and systems. Served as Section Manager, Program Security Officer, and Program Protection Engineer on numerous critical acquisition programs. Developed comprehensive Program Protection strategies and briefings for high-level government executives using proven methodologies. Initiated Program Protection Implementation Plans and Acquisition Document reviews for cutting-edge national security programs. Co-authored wide-ranging National Policy Documents, Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides and Standard Operating Procedures. Interacted routinely with program management articulating program life-cycle security requirements. Managed Facility and Information System security accreditation processes for both contractor and government site activities. Oversaw extensive Personnel Security procedures for several programs. Recognized expert in Systems Security Engineering and Program Protection. Interfaced regularly with Counterintelligence experts to determine current threats to acquisition programs.
