Daily Duties at United Nations Children's Fund:

Nutrition manager for 9 states with over 40 million people including over 8 million children under 5 years. Translation of policy to strategic action and action plan and budgeting Program development, planning and management, conduct situation analysis for program and policy f ormulation and development. Researcher, conduct formative, operational, and evaluation researches and presentation of scientific papers for program formulation, assessment and adjustment. Advocacy, sensitization and resource mobilization. Conduct stake holders meetings at various levels with diverse targets and stakeholders. Partnership development coordinated multi agency, multi-faceted, multi-lateral, multi-donor projects, leveraged resources and results Initiated the establishment of structures and systems for programs sustainability. Knowledge management, training, mentoring and supervision. Emergency preparedness and response, managed diverse emergencies including outbreaks, flood and armed conflict areas. Development and review of communication materials and training manuals and materials Role model and public communication. Representation of agency at local, national and international meetings. Project management, effective staff coach and mentor, management of finance and supply resources. Coordinate and manage multi donor and multi sectorial grants. Write concept notes, proposals and reports. Community engagement and development, emergency preparedness and response and development of resilience, supervisory training, monitoring and evaluation.
