Daily Duties at Greenberg Traurig:

Support one shareholder in entertainment practice focused on theater and music businesses. Heavy phones, heavy client contact with artists, producers and record company executives; heavy calendaring and time keeping, expense reports, edit and revision of simple and complex contracts and deal memos; heavy calendaring; heavy filing; travel arrangements; heavy overtime.

What they like about Greenberg Traurig:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.

Climbers who worked at Greenberg Traurig had these interests:

Books
"Does Anyone Hate Donald Trump More Than Donald Trump? An Intervention" by David Shields Shields is a brilliant essayist. This is a book of mostly fragments that Shields basically collected a put in an order to support his hypothethis.
Magazines
The New Yorker Probably the only weekly magazine I keep up with. The non-fiction is particularly astute and the best of its kind except for some journals like the Paris Review, Tin House and Ploughshares--all of which I also read.
Websites
The Guardian

http://www.theguardian.com

Best newspaper, in my opinion, online.
Twitter

http://@boypoet - my handle

I read it for a couple of really smart people about politics and art.
LinkedIn

I use it a lot more than I used to -- for job leads and to congratulate people on promotions etc.
